Sculpture

These sculptural works bring together glass, metal, and light to create moments of pause and presence. Rooted in the dialogue between strength and transparency, weight and openness, each piece is shaped by process and place. Made to be lived with and shared, the works invite reflection, curiosity, and connection—creating quiet spaces where material, light, and community come together.

Tabletop

Small in scale and rich in detail, these tabletop pieces bring warmth and color into everyday spaces. Welded steel supports luminous glass, creating intimate works that feel personal, welcoming, and quietly alive.

Large Scale

Designed to be experienced and shared, these works engage their surroundings through light, transparency, and form. Grounded yet open, they invite people to gather, linger, and feel a sense of belonging within the space.

Between Light and Line

Welded steel extends in measured horizontals and verticals, forming a quiet architectural framework. Within it, panels of fused glass hold fields of red, blue, yellow, and green—layered, textured, and shaped by heat. The steel provides structure and continuity; the glass introduces movement and light.

As daylight shifts, color deepens and shadows lengthen, activating the space between elements.

Between Light and Line explores where strength meets openness, where order makes room for expression, and where illumination becomes the quiet bridge between structure and feeling.

Fire Holds the Light

Fire Holds the Light pairs welded steel with fused glass in a vertical composition that engages natural light throughout the day. The glass, formed through intense heat, carries subtle movement, color, and depth. As sunlight passes through the panels, it creates soft shifts of glow, shadow, and reflection within the surrounding space.

Grounded by its steel structure yet open on all sides, the sculpture balances strength with openness. Fire Holds the Light reflects a quiet transformation—where material shaped by force becomes something gentle, luminous, and shared, encouraging moments of pause, reflection, and connection within the landscape.

Fusion of Form, 2024

Fusion of Form is a gathering of three sculptural forms, each grounded in welded steel and animated by suspended fused glass. While the structures share a common framework, the glass panels differ in color, texture, and rhythm, reflecting the individuality within a collective whole. Light moves freely through the open frames, activating layers of reflection and shadow that shift as people pass by. Together, the sculptures speak to community as a balance of strength and openness—where distinct elements coexist, interact, and support one another, and where meaning emerges through connection, presence, and shared space.

Large Sculpture, Selected Older Works

Hanging

These works engage vertical space, whether mounted on a wall or held slightly away from it. Glass and metal interact with changing light and shifting viewpoints, bringing color, depth, and a quiet sense of movement that invites pause, reflection, and connection.

Architectural Pause, 2025

Architectural Pause explores the space between movement and control, spontaneity and structure. I begin with welded steel—rigid, industrial, exacting—and counterbalance it with kiln-formed glass that carries fluidity, emotion, and unpredictability. The composition holds tension: one glass panel swirls with organic color, while the other is crisp, divided, and intentional. Between them, the steel bars act like scaffolding or signal lines, framing a visual dialogue between chaos and order.

This piece reflects my ongoing interest in how we build meaning—through form, through systems, through the environments we create. The work is both personal and architectural, speaking to how we navigate internal and external landscapes.

I see this piece as a kind of pause—a moment of reflection in a noisy, structured world. A place where opposites hold together, not in conflict, but in conversation.

Triptych: Architecture of Balance
  • Intersection – Where paths converge, decisions echo, and form is set in motion.
  • Alignment – A quiet order emerges, drawing elements into harmony.
  • Extension – A graceful reach beyond familiar boundaries, opening space for possibility.

This triptych honors the poetics of structure—the moments when paths converge, harmony holds, and form reaches beyond itself. IntersectionAlignment, and Extension trace how balance invites growth and transformation.

Architecture of Balance contemplates the thresholds that define and expand us. In Intersection, paths meet in a moment of decision and connection. Alignment reflects the stillness that follows, when forms settle into equilibrium. Extension carries the work forward, reaching beyond the known framework into space unclaimed. Together, these pieces evoke the enduring truth that balance is not static, but an unfolding—a continual act of becoming.

Iridescence

Enchanting the observer, this iridescent hanging sculpture captures the imagination, inviting viewers into a world where form and light dance in harmonious unity. Intricately crafted with geometric precision, light dances across the surface, and colors shift and mingle, creating a mesmerizing interplay of hues that captivate the eye and stir the soul.

"Sculpture is like drawing in the air. Filling in space. Finding space. Working with contours, planes, lights and shadows."
